For this late summer collection I teamed up with a friend of mine, Arif Demir, he is a graphic designer and typographer. He played around with our „The Kids all Ride“ slogan and came up with a really nice script version and a great Pixação version. Especially the Pixação, a tagging/graffiti style from the southeastern metropolitan areas in south america, version look awesome, with it’s bold lettering.
The „TKAR Script“ is available as a Baseball Longsleeve Shirt. The „TKAR Pixa“ is available with a large black print on a white or grey heather shirt and also as a special reflective version! The reflective version features a large reflective print on a black shirt!

This late summer collection also marks the first part of a really special collaboration.
Peter Aurisch, a multi-talented artist from Berlin, drew some amazing artworks exclusive for AURORA and i’m really happy to finally release the first artwork today. I’m a huge fan of his art and i’m very proud that I can work together with him.

Spring is here and so is the first part of the AURORA Spring/Summer 2014 collection.

It consists of five T-Shirts and a light Hooded Zipper.
But it would understate the case, if I leave it without any explanation.
All these new garments are 100% Made in Europe, made under fair working and also trading conditions. Besides these important factors, all garments are newly developed from scratch. The T-Shirts and Hooded have a custom fit made after my requirements. From now on every AURORA garment, will be produced just for AURORA!

I’m really proud of this first run and I think they turned out great. It took some months to get everything as it should be, but the result is stunning and I can’t wait to hear your feedback.

The details on all pieces are AURORA-like and finally a lot more ideas I had for a while, came to life in these pieces. Custom cut, functionality, photoprints and reflective designs.

A collaboration shirt with the RAD RACE Crew, featuring a large double photoprint by Hamburg-based photographer Björn Lexius. Another landscape impression on the “Road to nowhere” Shirt and the all new AURORA “Pocket” Shirts, featuring a practical backpocket to store your keys, wallet, mobile or tool while riding.

The AURORA “Pocket” Shirt is available in two versions. The “Reflex Pocket” Shirt features a high quality reflective fabric on the back. It’s the same fabric Nike uses for their reflective running gear, it’s state of the art and the best you can get. The pocket is durable and with the reflective fabric, it helps you to be seen at night.

If it get’s colder outside, just put on the new AURORA “Reflex V3″ Hooded Zipper, it’s not that heavy, but comfortable and made from super soft fabric made of 50% cotton / 50% polyester. It features a large reflective 3M print on the back, to offer visibility at night.
The Hooded Zipper also got a custom cut, that means it is slightly slimmer to prevent flapping while riding and the body is a bit longer.

Time is running, it’s christmas again.
And finally the AURORA Fall/Winter 2013 drop is ready. It’s a fine selection of essentials, with the focus on quality and the small details.
I’m very proud on the new AURORA knitted hats, they are Made in Germany. The highest quality possible with great virgin wool and fine merino wool, manufactured by a old Family Business with all their experience and craftsmanship. The AURORA knitted hats are available in black, charcoal, burgundy and marine.

Besides this I’m also happy to introduce the AURORA Technical Keychain. It features a patented magnetic FidLock slider to easy release the keys, but also securely hold them in place. But it get’s more technical with the also patented Freekey keyring, it allows to easily add or remove keys without any stress.
The AURORA Technical Keyring features a YKK velcro closure to attach it to your belt, backpack, MOLLE system or everywhere else you can think of.
This Keychain is Made in Germany aswell.

Alongside these products this drop also includes a selection of AURORA Snapback Caps (in burgundy, black, dark green), Baseball Longsleeves (in grey and white) and a Crewneck. All with subtle “Above” detailing.

When it comes to building up a bike, finding the right pedal is one of the most difficult tasks. Depending on the frame and bike design, there is need for something that fits, looks good and also works well. A bike for the daily commute needs to be durable and light. While commuting most people don’t want to wear cleats and cycling shoes, with sneakers or leather shoes it’s difficult to find a solution that doesn’t damage the shoes but still performs well.
Our friends from schindelhauer developed a pedal that is exactly what a lot people where searching for.
It’s bridging the gap between classic road pedals and large platform pedals. A sleek and modern design with a flat surface and super low profile.
Made from premium high-strength aluminium, with reduced dimensions to save weight. Instead of the usual pins and small contact area on normal pedals, the schindelhauer “Urban Pedale” uses a flat top with 3M grip tape to secure the shoe on the pedal. This prevents the shoes from damage, but also secures them well while riding.
