Bike Check: Kenny’s Kagero 2013

There are so many AURORA Velcro Straps out there all over the world, why not show some nice builts with them?
I started a (long) while ago with my Principia Track and continue with Kenny’s Kagero 2013. Kenny is from NYC and works as a graphic designer. Check out his instagram or the godandfamous a label he is also running.

AURORA 5 Panel Cap – Bordeaux

It’s time for another release!
Earlier this week I released the first AURORA // Quickstrike 5 Panel Caps called “The Floral” (in grey and blue).
This Limited Edition goes in another direction and focuses on fabric, manufacturing and a special look.
As a contrast to the classic AURORA 5 Panel Cap where I kept it subtle and gave it a clean look with a striking colorway.
It took really long to come up with another colorway, but I would say it was worth waiting.
It’s the classic AURORA cut featuring a bordeaux top, blue / classic green brim and a blue lining. All this refined with AURORA details in off-white.

Hej,
so it’s summer (kind of at least) and it’s time for hanging around with boys and girls, riding bikes and boards, traveling, enjoying bbqs and beer and much more. I love this stuff and I bet you do aswell.
A lot people use Instagram and so I thought this could be a fun thing for AURORA.
Why not sharing your great AURORA moments? This means, when you got something related and fitting to AURORA or just a eyecandy from your recent ride or roadtrip for example. I bet other AURORA fans would like to see it aswell – with using the AURORA hashtag #auroracollective, you can directly share your moment on the AURORA facebook page. I’m really curious about your impressions…

Maybe I will choose one great picture every once in a while and provide the creator with a suprise.

AURORA velcro straps V2 – Olympic Edition!

Just some quick news.
The Olympic Games 2012 in London will start in two weeks. The German Track Cyclists will go for Gold there and of course they will be riding with AURORA Straps. They’ve tested them over the last two years and won several Championships and Medals. Now they take them to London! This is a great honor for me and underlines the quality of the gear I’m producing.

To spread the olympic idea and in honor of the 5 colors, I made those special AURORA V2 Straps – Olympic Edition. These will just be available during the Olympic Games.

Road to the Olympic Games 2012 in London

What’s good people?
A lot of cycling going on at the moment. First week of the Tour de France 2012 is over and besides a lot of crashes it is a exciting event. I’m curious about the next two weeks.
Right after the Tour the Olympic Games 2012 in London will start. This year the Games open with the road cycling events on 28th of july. But much more interesting are the Track Championships starting 2nd of august. A lot germany rider will compete and some of them will sport the AURORA Velcro straps in their races. They found them at the KEIRIN cycling cafe in Berlin and the good people at KEIRIN provided them with several pairs to check them out. In the last two years they tested and approved them in several competitions.
I’m really looking forward to see Maximilian Levy again in a thrilling battle against Chris Hoy.
In April Maximilian Levy reached the 2nd place in the Keirin Finals just centimeters after Chris Hoy at the UCI Track World Championships in Melbourne.
