Here we go again.
Why not putting up another version of our Compact Messenger Bag, the Black Version received a lot positive feedback so far. So here is the AURORA Compact Messenger Bag “Flecktarn” (“Spotted Camouflage”) version which will help you to survive and hide in the urban jungle.
I’m still really proud of this product, because it took a lot time and effort to develop the construction, pattern and features of the bag. It features the best insights I discovered while using several bags the last years.
Perfect for everyday use, commuting, short trips and also for carrying larger and bulky goods. It is really tough and versatile, but it’s still a compact Bag.
Besides your daily essentials it takes your DIN A4 writing pad, iPad and also a Macbook (Air 11″/13″ or Pro 13″).

To make it something special and stand out from the crowd, i’ve added a lot features you just rarely find on other bags. The Strap System on the flap is pretty unique and very useful. With the included Straps you can securely fasten Bike Polo Mallets, a Mailing Tube, Golf Clubs, a sleeping bag, your wet bike gear after a shower and much more. If you need some more space you can also lengthen the snap buckles on the flap with the additional Straps and put some larger stuff in.

This is Micaela Neto, she is 25 years old and works as a graphic designer in Lisboa, Portugal.

Her last bike was from her father, a kind of family heritage, a classic road bike from the 70′s.
Now she bought this single speed bike, which was built up by RODA GIRA (facebook) using mainly 8bar Bikes (facebook) Parts and also AURORA Velcro Straps.

I can’t live without bikes, because it’s my way of living the city, my everyday transport and, when you get used to this kind of freedom, it becomes impossible to live without your bike.

With her friends she started a bike collective, named Matilha Cycle Crew. With this collective they aim to promote a cycling lifestyle in the city, with no boundaries, traffic jams or stressful rides.
At Matilha Cycle Crew they are always looking for some nice ideas and events to turn Lisboa in a bike friendly city, one step at a time.

as mentioned some days ago, i’m happy to finally introduce the AURORA Compact Messenger Bag to you.
I’m really proud of this release, because it took a lot time and effort to develop the construction, pattern and features of the bag. After years of using/owning several messenger bags/backpacks, researching and 1,5 years testing the first prototype, I had many ideas and saw a lot problems to face. I think I solved most of them really good and i’m really happy with this one.

just a little note to keep you up to date.
I’m really busy in sewing orders and besides this get new stuff done. Please check out the two pictures.
The first one shows a new colorway of the beloved AURORA 5 Panel Cap, which will drop soon along with more new apparel. Really curious about this and I hope you like it as much as I do.
The second picture shows the upcoming AURORA Compact Messenger Bag.
I’m thinking about dropping this one as a limited edition in the next days.
